Our Story

It all began with a dream.

A small dream but a dream nonetheless. For quite some time, I (Ellie) wanted a labradoodle named Latte. I love dogs but unfortunately I am allergic to most dogs. My sister adopted a labradoodle and I fell in love. The best part was, I wasn’t allergic to him! So, as I was waiting for the right timing to get a dog, I saved my leftover change in a “Latte Fund” jar. I met Jesse, we fell in love and got married in 2018. We quickly decided we wanted to add a furry friend to our family. Through a family member, we met Steve (owner of Hope Farm Labradoodles). We spent some time with Steve learning about all the incredible characteristics of the Australian Labradoodle as well as seeing the care put into raising these puppies and keeping the breed healthy. After learning about this amazing breed, we decided this was the dog we wanted. Except, there was one problem: We fell in love with a male puppy which meant the name Latte would have to be shelved for a future female dog. Simba joined our family and we quickly were overjoyed and amazed by what an incredible dog he turned out to be. We may be a little biased but it seemed like people were continually asking us about Simba and where we got him. Fast forward a year, we decided to partner with Steve from Hope Farm Labradoodles to give people in Denver the opportunity to enjoy these sweet dogs. We finally got to welcome Latte into our family!
